Shirley was a wonderful woman who Jeff and I have many great memories of. She has been a wonderful best friend to Jeff’s mom, Betty.
I lost the dearest, closest friend I ever had. Shirley and I used to spend every summer together going to the beach and always had a great time.
When I was in grade school at Sheridan elementary school, Mrs Vognet was the Secretary there. I remember like it was yesterday! She was a wonder lady and my mother, the ” lunch lady” just loved her also! I have thought about her over the years especially the picture I drew for her of a school, children and a play ground, and she hung it in the office. I’m so sorry for your loss but it is Mrs Vognet’s gain to be with the Lord!
Larry and family:
I am so sorry to read of your mom’s passing. She and my mom worked together for many years at the school district and were good friends. She always called me when she needed a bowler to sub. I was always fond of your parents. They are finally together again. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
She was one of the few remaining that still had basic common sense and high standards, which is greatly lacking these days. We’ll miss her and have her in our prayers.
