I am so sad to hear about Bob, he was like a brother to me since childhood. I have so many memories with him in it and I will cherish those forever. I am praying for your family and so sorry for your loss.

Bob was on our Education Support Team at Camp Robinson. I very well remember the day he appeared for his interview. He was on permanent leave from the Active Duty US Army. Wearing his uniform with many ribbons and metals he was the picture of a serviceman who served his country well. I’m very honored to have known him and be a friend. Sincerest condolences to his family.

To all the family and friends, you have our deepest sympathy and I pray you find comfort reading this..

Bob, it has been a long tough journey these past few years my friend… But thankfully this is not goodbye… It is simply see ya later! That moment, as I sat with you and you took your final breath… I am confident that you immediately began walking those streets of gold and we shall be joining you there one day! Until then, you shall be missed by all your family and friends and by all of us on the Education Support Team. As we walked this journey together, I recall the many times your hospital rooms didn’t have your “wing man” on the wall and on each occasion… The hospital staff were great to honor your request and find and place a cross on the wall. And now… you see Him face to face!
Rest Easy my brother! I will see you later!
