Carolyn “Faye” Beard Evans of Des Arc, Arkansas passed away Sunday, October 15, 2023. She was 70 years old.
Faye was born June 4, 1953 in Cotton Plant, Arkansas to the late Louise Parker Beard and B.L. Beard. She was the granddaughter to the late Mattie Crafford Parker of Cotton Plant.
Faye spent most of her adult life working and caring for her children and grandchildren. One of her favorite past times was to go fishing. It gave ger peace and joy whether she caught anything or not. Fay loved to attend the ball games of her grandchildren always calling their names out and embarrassing them. She loved it.
Faye was married to Alton Evans for the past 14 years. She enjoyed his singing and music playing. Faye enjoyed her sisters and brothers in the Lord.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Amanda (James) Heffington, Faith (Coy) Snider, and was the mother of Randi Sue Mayher who left the earth way to soon.
Her pride and joy were her grandchildren Dillion Moye, Dallas (Zac) Cearley, Dawson Holloway, Landon Heffington, Chesnee Landey, Maverick Snider, and Sidney Snider and two great-grandchildren Paisley and Oaklee Cearley. She also leaves behind a brother Rrandy (Charlotte) Beard and two sisters Bonnie (Dewayne) Sutterfield and Debbie (Daron) Brown and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at 1:00pm at Gospel Mission Church in Des Arc, Arkansas.
