Charles A. Young, age 76

Charles A. Young, 76, of El Dorado, Arkansas passed away on October 5, 2023. He was born in Sparkman, Arkansas on April 1, 1947, to Ervin Young and Virginia Goodwin Young.

Charles was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He loved to hunt. He was one of the funniest people and he loved to joke with everyone he met. He spent lots of time with his children and grandchildren. He and his son Chuck spent many hours on the phone talking about the Razorbacks. He was a compassionate and loving person. He especially loved the Lord. His Family will miss him very much.

He is preceded in death by his father Ervin Young; his brother Jerry Lee Young; his sister-in-law Monie Young; his daughters KK young, Charlla Young-Burrow, and Jonette “Jodie” Sutherlin; and his cousin Freddie Young.

He is survived by his wife Brenda Young; his son Chuck Young (Devin) and daughter Nedra Roe; his grandchildren Ryan Young, Tanner Burrow, Makenzi Burrow-Milligan (Hunter), Opal Farris, Josh Sutherlin, Dylan Avant, and Brooklyn Price; his mother Virginia Young; his siblings Robert Young, Kieth Young, Carol Tillman (Ronnie), Betty Boone (Ricky), and Sister-in-law Beverly Oliver (Johnny); his many nieces and nephews; and many friends and extended family.

    I love you, and miss you already.i realize just how much I still need you. I know in my heart where you are, but it doesn’t stop the hurt I feel. You were the best man I knew, and I’m proud to have you as my dad. I regret so much, but I’m glad you finally got to see a better me.
