Dorothy M. Mallet, age 74, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away on Monday, October 2, 2023. She was born in Iberia Parrish, Louisiana on May 11, 1949 to the late Durphy Bourgue Sr. and Lily Mae Racca Bourgue.
Dorothy was a very loving mother and grandmother. She loved crafting, listening to music, and was always a big fan of watching game shows. She loved the Lord and attending gospel concerts.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband Donald Mallet Sr; her son Donald “Donnie” Mallet Jr; and brothers Frank Bourgue, Murphy Bourgue, and Ricky Bourgue.
She leaves behind her daughters Chantelle (Gabriel) Rangel and Charmaine Musemeche; grandchildren Gabriel, Natalie, Angie, Kristy, Ashley, and Faith; great-grandchildren Kylie, Rena, Peter, Talhiana, Talia, Adoria, Malya, and Daxton; brother Durphy Bourgue Jr; special friends of Dorothy’s for many years Louise, Pauline, Monica, and Virginia; along with a host of other friends and extended family too numerous to name.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
