Gerald Eugene Sherraden (Jerry) was born July 21, 1939 to Arthur and Pauline Sherraden in Junction City, KS. and was the eldest of 6 children. Jerry lived in the Junction City, KS area for several years growing up.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, his wife Bettye Sherraden and his daughter.
Jerry and his first wife, Marge, had 3 children Sean (Jean) of Fort Worth, TX, Jennifer (Ken) of Prescott Valley, AZ and Colin (Heather) of Wichita, KS.
Jerry is survived by his brother Ron (Cecelia) of Garden City, KS; his sister Joyce Mason (Ron); brother Larry (Becky) of Lawrence, KS; step-sons Samuel, John and Jerry (Ilene) Goodrich; grandchildren Daniel (Bre), Samantha, and Kelsi Goodrich; and many great and great-great grandchildren.
Jerry worked as an accountant in the banking industry and was a bookkeeper for some other companies. Jerry joined JB Hunt as a truck driver and drove for them for more than 14 years. After retiring from JB Hunt, he started driving a school bus for the Cabot, AR school district where his wife, Bettye, also worked. He loved driving school buses. He especially enjoyed driving the bus picking up the children with special needs. Jerry was loved by all who took care of him, along with many family and friends.
