Janet Lynn Sears, age 80

Janet Lynn Sears, age 80, of North Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on September 30, 2023. Born on October 27, 1942, in Little Rock, Arkansas, Janet was a beloved wife and friend, sister, stepmother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Janet was one of the best storytellers, captivating everyone with her charisma and ability to spin amusing tales from everyday life. Her stories had a way of bringing people together and creating lasting memories.

In addition to her storytelling talents, Janet had a passion for cooking and painting. She was a wonderful cook, delighting her loved ones with delicious meals. Her talent as a painter allowed her to express her creativity and bring beauty to the world through her artwork.

Janet had a love for travel and adventure. She embraced new experiences and had a special way of making strangers feel like family. Her warm and welcoming nature made her a cherished friend to many.

Janet is survived by her loving wife and friend, Renee Lemoine, her brother Thomas Hunt and nephew TJ Hunt, and her stepchildren: Jimmy Sears, Lee Ann (Sears) Stuart and husband Hunter Stuart, Jo Ella Sears-Harkins and husband Chris Harkins, and Jerry Sears. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Tara (Stuart) Miller and husband Steven Miller, Jeremy   Stuart and wife Katie (June) Stuart, and Abbigail Harkins, as well as her great-grandchildren: Addison Miller, Max Miller, Ella Miller, Hunter Stuart, and Lila Stuart.

Janet was preceded in death by her father, Willard Thomas Hunt, and her mother, Thelma Phillips Hunt.

Janet Lynn Sears will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. May she rest in peace.

    A lovely lady. She loved life and lived it fully. She taught me how to laugh at myself. I will miss her.
