Jessica Elizabeth Self, age 34

Jessica Elizabeth Self, 34, of Clarendon passed away on October 21, 2023, in Clarendon, Arkansas.  She was born on December 21, 1988, to Ronald Ray Kersey and Mary Ann Boyster-Kersey.

She enjoyed taking road trips with her husband Alvin and 3 dogs (Wednesday, Ash, and Brutus). She loved the outdoors, whether it was fishing or planting flowers and vegetables in her gardens. She was most proud of being a Meme to all of her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her great grandparents James and Ruth Brewer, her grandmother Jean Cox, her brother Johnny Burle Steeland, and sister Rachel Linzie Steeland.

Jessica leaves behind her husband Alvin Self JR; her stepchildren Sharona Prine, Nicholas Self, Tommy Self (Ava), and Adrianna Self; her grandchildren Ethan Whitworth, Allison Prine, Aydin Self, Lainey Self, Sophia Raney, Arleigh Self, Hudson Prine, Anakin Self; her father Ronnie Kersey (Beverly) and her mother Mary Borchert (Michael); her grandfather Charles Kersey (Mary); her siblings Adrienne Kuna (Garrett), Savanna Mayville (Jimmy), Kayla Kersey (Auggie), and Bryan Kersey (Alana); and many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

A Visitation Service will be held on Wednesday November 1, 2023, at 1:30pm and The Funeral Service will be at 2:00pm at Clarendon First Assembly located at 680 North Second Street Clarendon, Arkansas; Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery in Clarendon, Arkansas.
