Joseph Grady Bumpous, age 68, of Ward, Arkansas passed away on October 14, 2023. He was born in Forrest City, Arkansas on March 6, 1955 to the late Robert Grady and Jewel Elizabeth (Rhodes) Bumpous.
In addition to his parents, Joseph is preceded in death by his brother Douglas Wayne Bumpous; stepson Chase Wilson; and significant others Arden Wilson and Shannon Graham.
He leaves behind his children Joseph Grady Bumpous Jr and fiancé Crystal Stinebaugh, Cassandra Jeanette Makowski and husband D.J. Makowski, Ashley Elizabeth Nicole Cole and husband David Cole; stepdaughter Christi Wilson; grandchildren Dexter Jace Cole, Archer Lincoln Cole, Olivia Marie Makowski, Logan James Makowski; siblings Charlotte Craddock (Martin) of Scott, AR, Neal Bumpous of Scott, AR, Thomas Wilson of Coushatta, LA, Kenneth Wilson of North Little Rock, AR, Donna Rhodes of North Little Rock, AR, Ronnie Christie (Carrie) of North Little Rock, AR, Deb Finney of Kalamazoo, MI; the mother of his three children Angela Norene Rogers; and many more friends and extended family.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2023 from 5:00-7:00pm in the chapel at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville, Arkansas.
A family-hosted memorial service will be held on Friday, October 27, 2023 at 2:00pm at Grace Baptist Church; 408 N. Walkers Corner Road, Scott, Arkansas.
