Juanita Sue LaRue, age 82

Juanita Sue LaRue, age 82, of Bryant, Arkansas passed away on October 20, 2023. She was born in Roswell, New Mexico on June 15, 1941 to the late Herbert and Fannie Lou (Holden) Burton.

Juanita worked as a Registered Nurse for many years. She enjoyed sewing and always loved to travel. She worked very hard to become a classically trained Opera Singer and had the most beautiful singing voice.

In addition to her parents, Juanita is preceded in death by her husband Emmers Ted LaRue; brothers Robert Burton and Billy Burton; and sister Berta Blanton.

She leaves behind her sons John LaRue (Audra), Wesley LaRue (Gwen), and Joseph LaRue (Lee); grandchildren Jonathan Wade, Blake LaRue, Blaine “Cole” LaRue, and Serria LaRue; siblings Herbert Burton and Karen Mackey; and many more friends and extended family.

Per the family’s wishes, no services will be held at this time.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Juanita’s honor to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.

    Now you can sing with the angels, my sweet aunt. Your beautiful voice will be heard across the sky in Heaven. I will forever remember you for all of the great times I had with you on our family trips. Forever in my ❤️
