Larry R Ironside was a beloved father, husband, brother and grandfather. He passed away the afternoon of October 7th, 2023. Larry was born on January 20th, 1948 to JV and Auneen Ironside in Bradford, AR.
He is survived by his wife (Shirley Ironside), his sister (Alice), 3 children, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Larry was the man everyone could count on. He would do what people needed without them having to ask and with no need of recognition. That’s just who he was. Friends and neighbors always became part of the family with Larry, and he always took care of everybody. Larry enjoyed spending his time with his wife and family, but he also enjoyed watching Nascar, going hunting as well as fishing. His grandchildren’s favorite memories of him included him taking them to fish in the pond behind their home, going to deer camp, and even cleaning the deer. Larry will be forever missed and remembered.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at 1:00pm with a funeral service starting at 2:00pm at Pinecrest Funeral Home and Memorial Park; 7401 AR-5, Alexander, AR 72002.
