Ricky Brown, 63, of Cabot, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord September 29, 2023 in Jacksonville, Arkansas. He was born May 28, 1960 in Fordyce, Arkansas to the late Harmon Oliver “Red” Brown and Bobbie Jean Brown.
He was also preceded in death by his sisters Sandra Kay Brown and Mary Alice Mahoney.
He is survived by his wife Ethel Brown; five children Jennifer (Glen) Owens, Jeramie (Amber) Brown, Jamie Brown, Chris Morden, Michael (Desi) Morden; sisters Shirley (Henry) Veorster and Tammy Standridge; brother Steve (Debbie) Brown. He also leaves behind 20 grandchildren, as well as numerous other family and friends.
Ricky was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was most at peace when in the deer woods or in a boat on the water. He was a talented musician who loved to play bass and guitar and could play nearly any instrument he put his hands on. Ricky loved his family and would be there in a drop of a hat if someone needed him.
A celebration of Ricky’s life will be held Friday, October 6th with visitation at 1:00 p.m. followed by funeral services at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of A Natural State Funeral Service & Crematory in Jacksonville. Burial will follow at King’s Cemetery.
