Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Arnold Tullos, age 66

Arnold Tullos, 66 years old, was born on April 4, 1957 to Kenneth and Loretta Tullos who resided in Hydesville, California. Arnold was the third of four children. Each child had a unique ability. Very early in Arnold’s life his unique ability was tearing things up and then putting them back together. This gift became so valuable, as it carried him through construction work with heavy equipment. Arnold could rig up anything mechanical until a part arrived, or it just stayed together from his own invention!

Arnold was also gifted with an ear for music. He took piano lessons as a child, then later on in life, taught himself advanced chord arrangements. He used this beautiful gift in churches, nursing homes, or wherever he had an opportunity to play those old gospel songs with an added flare.

How does one sum up a person who loved so many people? Arnold did not know a stranger whether they were very young or very old. His great sense of humor, infectious laugh, and warm heart welcomed people into his presence. He used it all to share the most important thing in his life: Jesus Christ, who had saved his soul as a young adult. Arnold so wanted others to have the same assurance and hope of Heaven that was given to him.

On October 27, 2023 at 9:25pm, Arnold left this world for his final and long-awaited destination: Heaven! After Jesus embraced him with those nail-scarred hands, He said, “Welcome home my child. Well done, now enter into the joy that is yours forever.” After Jesus and Arnold embraced again, Arnold turned and saw a beautiful red-haired woman running toward him. She jumped into his arms and said, “I’ve been waiting for you, Daddy!” She hugged him tight and said, “No more pain, no more suffering, and no more sadness.” They embraced and rejoined as family and friends joined them in this great reunion and celebration.

Arnold was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Loretta Tullos; daughter Alicia Tullos; and brother Keith Tullos.

Arnold is survived by his wife Katherine Tullos of 47 years; his son Brian Tullos; three grandsons Thaddeus, Theron, and Trevor; sister Virginia Ford; and brother Kenneth Tullos Jr. Arnold also leaves behind his precious nieces and nephews, two very close cousins, and many life-long friends.

A family hosted memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 11:00am at Holly Springs Baptist Church; 22401 Colonel Glenn Rd, Little Rock, AR 72210.

Arnold was and always will be my friend and brother in law. He recently told me that I had always been his friend and that it never changed throughout life. Arnold has always been an amazing Christian man that believed in people and he will always be remembered as a true believer and a true friend.
