Betty Ruth Pittman, age 81, of Jacksonville, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 27, 2023. She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on April 30, 1942 to the late Joseph Roger Thomson and Ruth Melva (Lipinski) Thomson.
In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her husband Jack David Pittman; former late husband Ángel Hernandez; brother-in-law Jaime Hernandez; niece Tina Bishop; son-in-law Rob Smith; daughter-in-law Marybeth Brock; grandson-in-law Michael Wilkes; and her in-laws Bill and Dorothy Pittman.
She leaves behind her children Jim Morrison (Jennifer), Sebastian Hernandez (Pittman), Christian D. Pittman (Lindsey), Jacquelyn J. Yates, and Victoria D. Adams (Rusty); grandchildren Dara J. L. Gross (William), Christopher M. Smith (John), Lorenza E. Dyer (Tyler), Veronica A. Yates, Cory W. Smith, Parker A. Smith, Christian D. Pittman Jr. (Jessica), Angelica R. Pittman, London G. Smith, and Michael A. Cano; great-grandchildren Sophia A. L. Gross, Gillian N. Gross, Carter G. Smith, Hailie Dyer, Waiverly Dyer, Palmer Dyer, Jessie Hill, and Tessa J. Carney; brother Gary R. Thomson; and sister-in-law Susan Kingsolver (Glenn).
