Charles Eber Dennis, age 80, of Austin, Arkansas passed away Sunday, November 26, 2023. He was born in Altheimer, Arkansas on January 21, 1943 to the late Eber Dennis and Ethel (Rice) Dennis.
Charles was a hardworking man and took pride in his work. He worked on his family farm since he was 6 years old. He and his family moved to Carlisle in 1971 and worked at Patrick Rayborn Farms for 32 years. He worked alongside his best friends, Pat Rayborn, Tom Chance, and Sonny Brown.
Charles is survived by his sister Sally Kemp; daughters Charlotte Gunter and Misty Wiseman; step-children Jason Young, Kevin Young, Toni Wiseman, and Christina Coleman; along with 7 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his daughter Tammy Clark; son Charles “Bubba” Dennis; and a host of other family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at 1:00pm with a funeral service starting at 2:00pm at Crosspoint Ministries; 805 Hwy 64 W, Beebe, Arkansas. Burial to follow at Apple Hill Cemetery in Austin, Arkansas.
