Michael Thomas Schneider, 68 years old, of Conway, AR, died peacefully at his home on November 24, 2023.
Mike was born in Paris, AR on September 7, 1955 to the late Abe and Gertrude Schneider. In addition to his parents, Mike is preceded in death by his brother Phillip Schneider.
Mike graduated high school from Subiaco Academy and attended college at University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and graduated with a civil engineering degree in 1984.
Mike was a very loving husband, father, and brother. He enjoyed fly fishing, spending time with his family, running and he accomplished two full marathons.
Mike was active in the Tyler Catholic Church community. He received much fulfillment from managing the children’s basketball program for many years.
Mike worked at the Department of Transportation in Tyler, Texas for over 30 years and retired in 2016.
To carry on his memory, he leaves behind his wife Vivian Schneider of 42 years; daughters Morgan Schneider and Chelsey Spencer; son in law Kyle Spencer; grandchildren Ellison, Margot, and Ava Spencer; siblings Betty Frederick, Rose Mary Hupp, Al Schneider, Bill Schneider, Kenny Schneider, Gina Schluterman, and Margaret Eckelhoff; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be held Friday, December 1, 2023 at St Joseph Catholic Church in Conway, AR (1115 College Ave). Rosary service will begin at 10:00AM with mass to follow.

Mike was a wonderful and kind brother-in-law. He always made me feel welcome when I came to visit his family in Tyler. I will truly miss his beautiful smile.

Mike was a great friend while growing up in Subiaco. We are saddened by his passing.
