Our beloved Patricia Carson Hickman, known to all as “Honey” passed from the physical world on November 15, 2023. She was born to her parents Theo Payne Carson and Jewel Steed Carson on June, 30, 1928.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and her husband John C. Hickman Sr., her little brother T.K. “Bucky” Carson and his wife Diane, her brother-in-law Robert C. “Bobby” Hickman and his wife Anne.
She is survived by her children, John C. Hickman Jr. (Jodie) of Little Rock. Julie Chambers (Clayton) of GA and Patrick Hickman of Little Rock. Grandchildren Holley Hickman McCain (Charlie) of Little Rock, Jay Hickman (Kristen) of Harrison, and their mother Dee Hickman; Carson Chambers (Amy), of GA; Collins Hickman (Hanna) and Miles Hickman (Addison Kate) of Little Rock and their mother Sarah Hickman. Great grandchildren, Bazze and Liz Hickman, Henry McCain, and Cayden, Sadie and Archer Chambers.
“Patty” was a very active and vital woman. She was a life-long member of the 20th Century Club, Chi Omega Sorority at the University of Arkansas, and a former homecoming queen at Little Rock High School, present day Central High. She enjoyed golfing, playing bridge, reading and spending time at the beach and lake.
To honor her beautiful soul there will be a Celebration of Life at St. Marks Episcopal Church, 3:00pm Monday November 20, 2023, with burial at the Columbarium on church grounds.
The family asks for memorials be made to charity of choice or to St. Marks Episcopal Church, 1000 N Mississippi St, Little Rock, AR 72207.

What a wonderful life filled with love and joy and longevity. Thinking about all of the Hickman family in your time of sorrow . I know she leaves a large void in your lives.
