Robert F. McKenzie, 82, of Cabot, Arkansas entered the gates of Heaven on November 11, 2023. He was born in Bentonville, Arkansas on October 20, 1941.
In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his brother and his beloved son, Randy McKenzie.
He is survived by the love of his life of 62 years, his wife, Linda McKenzie. Those left to cherish his memory are son, Tim (Sherrie) and daughter, Renea (Melissa); Sister, Janice Johnson; Grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends, and his faithful four-legged companion, Isabella.
After working on heavy equipment for 50 years, Robert found joy in working in his yard and shop. He could often be found creating something new, helping neighbors, or making and gifting birdhouses. He had a passion and a gift for woodworking. Robert embraced a simpler life. He enjoyed running errands and flea marketing with his wife. He enjoyed playing ball with his dog and faithfully chauffeured her to the groomer. No matter what he was doing, he did it with coffee in hand.
Robert was truly a jack-of-all-trades. He could build or repair anything and took pleasure in sharing his knowledge and skills with his children. He will be sadly missed and will always hold a place in our hearts.

Robert was a good friend and a good person. Too bad everyone can’t be as nice as he was. There will be a void in the community now that he is gone. My condolences to the family and other friends.
