Roger Alan Carter, age 61 of Hot Springs passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023. He was born on November 11, 1962 in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Roger was preceded in death by his father Roger Frank Carter, step-mother Jeanie Carter and his Mother Ann Caldwell.
Roger owned and operated Aluminum Arts, a labor of love passed down from his father. There are a great many places throughout Hot Springs where his beautiful iron work can be seen and admired.
He is survived by his wife Tamara Carter; son Justin and Chantal Carter; son Peyton Carter; daughter Jena and Jeremiah Blair; and sister Dawn Groover; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 between 5 – 7 pm upstairs at Fat Jacks in downtown Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Roger, was a good man. I was deeply saddened, when learning of his passing. My heart goes out to All his family and friends. I know he will be missed, there is no other like him. Knowing I will see Roger again in Heaven will bring me peace.I am praying for his family, for peace and comfort in their time of loss especially with the holidays. Roger will Always be in our hearts.
My deepest sympathy to Tamara, Dawn and the entire Carter family as they gather to remember Roger. I knew him, as well as his father, through Oaklawn Rotary. I will remember his big smile, hearty handshake and sense of humor. Rest in eternal peace, Roger.
I am so sorry to hear this. I just found out today when I called the office. Roger has done lots of work for me. I always considered him a friend
