Roy Dee Carter, age 87, of Searcy, Arkansas passed away November 22, 2023. He was born in Mount Pisgah, Arkansas on July 25, 1936 to the late Roland Wesley Carter and Pansy Odell (Griffin) Carter.
Roy loved to dance, fish and hunt. He was always the first to show up to help others. He served in the Army National Guard.
Roy is preceded in death by his parents, Roland Wesley Carter and Pansy Carter; brother, Elvis R. Carter; and sister, Bernice Carter “Peachy”.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years Juanita Carter; son Ronnie (Alwin) Carter; son Ricky (Daphne) Carter; daughter Becky (Kip) Snodgrass; sisters Shelda (Charles) Fitzgerald, Shirley (Keith) Stephens, and Vonnie George; brothers Ray Carter and Ken Carter; grandchildren Kimberly (Mike) Hagar, Jeremy (Mary) Carter, and Josh (Winter) Carter; 7 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
