Everett was born November 5, 1957, to the late Thomas J. McKinney and Verna Irene Frazier in Truman, Ar.  He passed away at home in Little Rock, AR on November 24, 2023, surrounded by loved ones.

Everett is preceded in death by his parents and 2 Sisters Patsy Moss and Charlene Mitchusson.

Everett was an avid Musician who played multiple instruments. And was always at his happiest when playing with other Musicians.  He played in several bands over the years and also enjoyed just jamming with fellow musicians and friends. He also enjoyed chess and had started a Chess Club in 2020 that it is still growing today.

He is survived by wife Shelly, Two brothers Charlie McKinney and Ortenzo Frazier, 4 children Tommy, Erin, Rachel and John.  He was loved by his 4 grandsons Seth, Christopher, Kendrik and Peyton.  He is loved and fondly remembered by a host of other Family and Friends.

My Dear Husband, you will be enormously missed by all who knew and loved you.  We will celebrate the Blessing of Your love and friendship at Lakewood United Methodist Church in NLR, AR on 12/16/2023 at 1:00 pm with Rev Cindy Henry officiating. The family requests that if you are able to please wear Hawaiian shirt in honor of Everett.

    Our thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time. I worked with Everett at UAMS and got to know him there. He was quite a guy.

    So sorry to hear of Everett’s passing. I have played a many a gig with him. A very talented kind man and friend in music. Prayers for the family.
