Wayne Eugene Hohmann, 64, of Higden, AR, passed away the morning of October 28, 2023. He was born on February 12, 1959, in Vernon, TX. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Wayne was an avid outdoors man and hunter from an early age. He found peace and solitude in the woods, preferring it over a crowded place. He had a quiet demeanor but a big heart. Wayne’s love for hunting was so profound that he would take time off work every year for the entire hunting season, where he would spend his days at his deer lease in Uvalde, Texas. In his later years, after his diagnosis, he cherished spending time with his wife, hunting with her at the deer lease, traveling with her, and creating memories with his daughter, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Debbie Hohmann of Higden, AR; his parents, Wayne and Kathy Hohmann of La Grange, TX; his brother, Richard, and wife Sharron Hohmann of Leander, TX; his Aunt Sheron Felps of Dripping Springs, TX; his only daughter, Jennifer Riley, and husband Tommy, and their two children, Lane and Cooper Riley of Ledbetter, TX; his step-children, Jason Sookram and girlfriend Tabby Cooper, and their children Trenton and Collin Sookram, Nevaeh and Abby Cooper of Indianapolis, IN; Stephanie Sookram and boyfriend Adam Bennett, and their children Tyler Sweet, Haile Flynn, Taryn Flynn, Joanna Gomez, and Ezequiel Gomez, and Rylan Bennett of San Antonio, TX; Christopher and wife Kelsey Low of Greenfield, IN; Nicholas Low and girlfriend Brittany Reidy, and their children Liam and Daniella Low of Greenfield, IN; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.
