Bobby Jo (Bob) Cable, 79, of Sherwood, Arkansas passed away on December 3, 2023. He was born in Jenkins, Kentucky on May 15, 1944.
He is preceded in death by his parents Hassell and Cora Cable, his sister Mae McGuire, and brothers Ray and Jimmy.
Bob spent the majority of his career in the parking industry in Ohio, Illinois, and Arkansas in a variety of positions including Regional Vice President with National Garages, Inc. He retired from Stephens, Inc. in 2013. While living in Springfield, IL he was a member of the Mason and Shriner organizations. Bob loved horse racing and the outdoors including hunting, fishing, and boating. He spent a lot of time with his family and close friends. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Henrietta; his son Eric (Shelly), his daughter Dana Russell; grandchildren, Meghan, Matthew, Trae, Lukas, and Cade; great-grandchildren Rhett, Greer, Ragnar, Bobby Jo and Wylder; one brother Delmer, many friends and extended family who will miss him dearly.
