My dear mother, Bonnie Lou Groat, sadly passed away December 12, 2023 at ninety years of age. She was born in Wichita, Kansas where she resided and raised her family for the majority of her life.
Bonnie often gave her time volunteering at Botanical Gardens in her later years. She will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her father George W. Blurton; mother Elle Mae Blurton; sister Dorothy L. Ketner; her husband Glendon B. Groat; and her son Steven L. Groat.
She is survived by her daughter Janell M. Rook; granddaughter Hayley M. Rook; grandson Wyatt L. Rook; great-grandson Kingston A. Rook
Bonnie will be laid to rest at Kechi Township Cemetery. No funeral services or memorial will be held.
