Damian Deon McCone, 40, of Sherwood, Arkansas passed away on December 7, 2023.
Damian was born August 2, 1983, in Lake Village, Arkansas to Brenda McCone.
He was married to Brandie McCone, and they have one son Damian McCone II.
He is survived by his sisters Regina Griffin, Salina McCone, Katifah Williams (Rodney),
and Sabrina Davis. Also, two brother Antinio Willis, and Billy joe Lemonds (Heather).
He has 24 nieces and nephews. Along with a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Damian was preceded by his grandmother Annie B Pitts and his brother Vernell Willis Jr.
The funeral will be held Thursday December 14, 2023, at 1 pm at McGehee Christian Center with burial to follow at Montrose community cemetery.
Our Protector and Provider will be missed. Love you Mr. McCone.

If I knew you would’ve had to leave I would’ve made our moments last a litter longer, I wish heaven would’ve waited a little longer cause now I’m left with a whole in my heart and a pain in my spirit that will never go away!! I wish I could see you one more time walking through the door, but I know that is impossible. I will hear your voice no more. I know you can feel my tears and you don’t want me to cry but yet my heart is broken because I can’t understand why someone precious had to die. I pray that the Most High will give us strength and somehow get us through as we struggle with this heartache that came when we lost you. It going to be hard trying to navigate through life without my PROTECTOR, my HERO, My BIG BROTHER. Love you FOREVER Damian Deon Mccone.

From the little boy who always tried to get away to a gentle loving father, son, brother husband and friend you were one of a kind! We love and miss you dearly! I will never get over this. My heart is weary but I believe that you are at peace. Take your rest, Damian.

Damian was well loved he always was respectful. He could cook and god definitely going to miss the barbeques. When I moved up north I sure did miss him. I know he’s in heaven having a big barbeque and watching down on us. He treated my daughter like a queen. He was a great and loving dad to Deon we couldn’t ask for anyone else. Great Guy, will never forget the fun times on Alabama street with me and my cousins. We would all have a great time from the kick ball, eating watermelon and the wrestling matches in between your house and our grandma.house. Nothing but fun times and memories
