Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Donna Caruth Bolanos, age 71

Donna Caruth Bolanos, 71, went peacefully to be with the Lord on Dec 20, 2023, while surrounded by those she loved. She was born on July 28, 1952 in Peoria Illinois.

She is survived by her much loved son Jaime Bolanos, and grandson Henry Bolanos of Sherwood, her brother Jim T. Caruth Jr. of Little Rock, as well a host of extended family.

She is preceded in death by her father Jim T. Caruth Sr., mother Mary Caruth, sister Mary Ann Daniel, and daughter Louann McGhee.

Donna, affectionally known as Donna B, was a beloved mother, grandmother and friend. More than anything, she loved spending time with her son and grandson. If she wasn’t at home with them, you could find her serving at church, or with her best friend LaJuana trying out a new restaurant. An active member of First NLR, she was known for her heart to serve and minister to others. She had a long career at the Arkansas Health Department, and in recent years found great joy doing administrative work with the Gravel Ridge Fire Department.

Known to hundreds as a supportive friend, she would always provide honesty with all the loving bluntness that only she possessed, always using that bluntness to point people to Jesus. While she leaves a large hole in many hearts on earth, her family and friends are relieved she is no longer in pain, and that she is with her Jesus whom she loved so much.

Services will be held at First NLR at 11:00 on December 30, 2023.

I miss my beloved grandmother or how me and my family calls her MomB. I am glad she is not in pain anymore and can rest in Heaven.

I’m missing MomB too. It makes me happy to think of her laughing and dancing with joy now and resting all that she wants. She will be watching with interest everything that you do. She will celebrate when you and your dad join her in heaven when it’s time.
