I have known Jean basically all our liives. Since age 4(?) in Sunday School at First Baptist Church. In Brinkley.
I still have a little doll that “ the Twins” gave me for my 5th Birthday. She will be greatly missed by Family—Freibds – and anyone who knew her.

Her light shined so bright. She was my friend for almost 40 years and I miss her so. She was just always there and willing to help if needed. A wonderful person who words cannot fully describe.

Always full of life, love and humor, the void Jean leaves is huge. The memories are wonderful and also fill a huge space. I miss her so very much.

Jean’s passing brought out dozens, if not hundreds, of heart-felt messages of shock, sorrow, love, and praises for her lifetime of love and goodwill for all who knew her. She literally never met a stranger. In fact, she frequently invited people who were alone to her home for different holiday meals. Every one of her friends whom I have known dearly loved her, and she loved them. She made such a difference in my life. The world is better because she was in it. Jean is in Heaven now.

I have many precious memories of Jean. She was a wonderful friend and I enjoyed working with her for many years. She always invited me to church, and I especially enjoyed attending the Ash Wednesday service with her. She had such a funny sense of humor and could keep me laughing. I am very thankful for our visit together a couple of months ago. Prayers for everyone who loved her and will miss her. She touched so many lives.

I met Jean and her twin Kaye through her ex-husband Charles Eddie Smith. When he suggested I meet them, he said “You guys will be lifelong friends” and he was right. The Magee twins have entertained me for years. Some of my fondest memories are with them. Jean was so kind and always so thoughtful. She texted me at Thanksgiving and said I had crossed her thoughts and she wanted to say Hi. She made a lasting impression with everyone she met. I am grateful Charles Eddie shared his twins with me. I am grateful to have known Jean Smith. Enjoy heaven my sweet friend, you have earned it.
