I already miss our 1-2 hour conversations we had a couple-few times a week.
He has always been a fun Dad taking me fishing, camping, walking through the woods, catching crawdads, rough housing, teaching me to drive and more. Later in his life he enjoyed sitting around with us just chatting, and telling us his special memories. Anytime we were all together he was happy.
He always loved treating his granddaughters Ella, and Ashlynn (or pumpkin’ seed as he calls her) to chocolates and a new fishing lure a piece. I know that my dad will always be with us. I want to extend a huge thank you to his best friend, Aunt Regina. Thank you for being there for him, loving him and taking care of him.
He knows he is very loved and will be greatly missed. ❤️

Grandpa was funny sweet and caring. He was adventurous and outdoorsy and always had a new entertaining story. He always gave the best and most interesting gifts. He liked fishing and hunting and anything outdoors. He is one of the sweetest people I know.

My Papa was always nice, funny and kind. On Thanksgiving he got us a whole tub of icecream. He always got me treats. He spent the night with us at Grandma Stephanie’s house and watched Buffy the vampire slayer with me. We all miss him a lot.

I never met anyone quite like Pops. Through his stories I saw that a simple life is a good one!Ginny and I got married, he moved from Leon to “Pop’s”. You should have seen his face as were sitting at the picnic table at Granny’s, he was a little taken back, but then he said…”I like that!” I saw how much he loved his family. when it comes to Stephanie, Ginny and our girl,That was at a whole different LOVE. Through his words and the way he spoke of Stephanie, you could tell, she was the only woman he ever loved and that was true to the moment he took his final breath.I am so happy that he was able to come to SC and stay with us,but the most special visit was when we went on vacation to FL to be able to see him, holding the girls hands while he was looking over the Ocean in complete awe. I saw his face wet and tears rolling down his face and that took me a back a bit. That is the memory of him that I will stay with in me as long as I live

I’m Leon x wife and only wife. Together me made a beautiful daughter Ginny Marie. We both love n cherished with all our hearts. Ginny Marie blessed us both with 2 beautiful granddaughters. As a couple Leon n I rode that thin line between Love and hate . But we both Loved each other always. Our most Precious roll was being grandparents. We spent summer vacation with girls together. . Flew on planes together. Took girls fishing together. He would spend weekend at my house to have more time with our girls. Together Leon and I made our own beautiful little family. For ever I will Love you n miss more than I can say .

Leon was one of my favorite people growing up. From going to spend the night at his house with Ginny to him paying me a dollar for each taco bell hot sauce I could eat. He is truly going to be missed by many.
