Ryan Harsch, age 44

Ryan Harsch, a longtime resident of Sherwood, AR and graduate of Sylvan Hills High School, passed away unexpectedly of an accidental overdose, on December 11, 2023 at age 44.

Ryan was born December 30, 1978 to parents, Vicky and Robert H. Harsch of Sherwood, AR. He is survived by his parents; sister Jennifer Boozer and her husband David of Sherwood, AR; his children Alyssa and Dylan of North Little Rock, AR; his grandmother, Betty Hamon of Fort Smith, AR formerly of Longview, TX; and his grandfather, Robert E. Harsch of Van Buren, AR. He is preceded in death by grandfather, Roy “Skully” Hamon of Longview, TX and grandmother, Florence Harsch of Van Buren, AR.  Ryan is also survived my numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Ryan was an outdoor enthusiast. He was an avid golfer and fisherman, that also enjoyed landscaping, hiking, cycling, boating and restoring old furniture. Ryan had been a Sherwood small business owner who worked as a marine mechanic repairing boats and personal watercraft. In recent years, he was learning to play guitar and had a deep appreciation of music. Ryan will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.

Details for a celebration of Ryan’s life will be announced via social media at a later date.

    We are saddened by the passing of this handsome young man at such an early age. We know that losing a child is one of the hardest things a parent ever deals with in their life. It.leaves a vacancy in the family that never be filled.. our sympathy to Ryan’s entire family..

    he was a light in my dark world . he was amazing and a blessing to me and my family .God sure has got the most kindest caring selfless full of compassion amd one of the best friends i could ever have been blessed to meet …at his side …i will never forget the wonderful man he was and i can never replace you Ryan …..when you left with you you took a piece of my heart ….i will keep your memory alive in my heart ….i love you and miss you
