Charles Walter Jandro, 80, of El Dorado, AR, passed away on December 25, 2023 at John L. McClellan Memorial Veterans’ Hospital in Little Rock, AR.
Charles was born on April 28, 1943 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Arthur Jandro, Jr. and Mavis Goddard. Charles was a proud United States Marine, serving his country for eleven years. He gave his heart to Christ at age 30. His favorite Bible verses were Psalm 1:1 and John 14:1. He wore many hats after his honorable discharge from the military – mail delivery, warehouse
positions, security, and pastor. Charles enjoyed reading, playing games – especially Scrabble, studying his Bible, and his two dogs. He was a generous man who loved the Lord and desired for all to come to Christ.
Charles Jandro is survived by his children Jeffery (Brenda) Jandro, Caren Jandro, Cristin (Nathan) Johnson, Candace (Mel) Sieber; grandchildren Benjamin Jandro, Dominic Johnson, Lily Johnson, Reese Johnson, Abigail Johnson, Dylan Oquin, Vincent Oquin, Isaiah Sieber; great-grandchild Caitie Wilson. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Judy (Whaley) Jandro; son Cody Jandro; granddaughter Jessica Jandro; and siblings Lawrence Jandro, Arthur Jandro, James Jandro, Barbara (Jandro) Fuller, David Jandro.
