Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Gary Dean Hallum, age 63

Gary Dean Hallum, age 63, of North Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away December 22, 2023. Raised in Amherst, Ohio, he had three brothers, Mark, Leonard, and David, one sister, Deborah, and a loving mom and dad, Esther and Vernon Hallum.

A Journeyman Electrician by trade, he could build anything electrical, mechanical, or carpentry. He was a jack of all trades and would take pride in perfecting everything he built. Having built his first motorcycle as a teenager, his biggest joy was working on his project cars. He was a self-proclaimed “Car Guy.” But to the ones he loved, he was just a great guy; a great friend, a great brother, and a great father! He put others before himself and would give you the shirt off his back without a thought.

Gary lived life on his terms and battled a short five months with lung cancer. Because of his devotion to his family and friends, he was surrounded by love up to the end. And because of his Christian faith he gained comfort and relief in knowing that he would be greeted by all of his loved ones that had passed before. Gary was preceded in death by his mother Esther, father Vernon, brothers David and Mark, and sister, Debi. He is survived by his children, Michelle and Tommy, and his brother, Lenny.

A memorial service is to be determined. Friends and family are invited to join in remembrance and support during this time.

May he rest in peace.
