George Rush Allen, age 57

George Rush Allen, 57, of Pine Bluff passed away Friday January 19, 2024 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.

He was born November 29, 1966 in Hot Springs AR to Jeff Charles Allen and Mary Helen Tallant.

George is the grandson of Jeff and Pearl Allen, both deceased.

He is survived by his mother Joyce Rodgers of Little Rock; one brother Raymond “Butch” Rodgers (Mary) of Little Rock; cousins John Finley (Andrea) of Ashdown AR; Kathy Kenneweg Coatney and son Ethan of Pilot Point, TX.

The family would like to extend its deepest gratitude for the caring staff at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Pastor David Hutchins will officiate.

    So sorry his life went the way it did. I remember how thrilled Aunt Pearl was when he was born. He was at her home when my dad, Buddy Kenneweg, and I stopped by one day; George was about 3 or 4, maybe 5 at that time. The two of them seemed to really happy to be together. George was really disappointed when he discovered I was a “big girl”, a teenager! My prayers for all his family and friends. RIP, cousin George.
