George William Pouliot passed away on January 5, 2024, at the Arkansas State Veterans Home in North Little Rock. He was born February 15, 1929, in Amesbury, Massachusetts to Joseph and Gertrude (Allard) Pouliot. George served his country during the Korean War as a cartographer in the United States Air Force. He later worked for many years as an engineer in the automotive industry.
George is survived by his children, Lillian O’Connell (Sean), Edward Pouliot, and Melinda Purdy, his stepchildren, Patrick “Bo” Smith (Karen), Terry Smith, Janet Jordan (Gary), and Carolyn Irwin (Seth), as well as one grandchild, one great-grandchild, six step-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
George was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Lila (Stoddard) Pouliot, and his siblings, Leo Pouliot, Raymond Pouliot, Eugene Pouliot, Paul Pouliot, Teresa Sargent, and Alice Ouellette.
