Grant Edward Russell, 69, of Maumelle, passed away December 25, 2023. He was born in Los Angeles, CA, attended college in Washington and later moved to Arkansas where he retired from Maumelle Parks and Recreation.
Grant was a man of God; a most kind, loving servant who always put others first. He volunteered at the Rice Depot, AR Food Bank, as a bell ringer for Salvation Army, Hidden Creek Project, Counting on Each Other of Maumelle and for anyone needing help.
He was a devout Christian since early adulthood and was a member of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ in Little Rock. He enjoyed daily Bible studies and all Bible classes. He loved people and animals, especially his four-legged buddies, Boston and Budd.
Grant is survived by his sister Sherri and brother Gregg of CA; brothers Gary and Bob of Idaho; also by special friends David and Lee Ann Washburn, Margaret Mitchell and John and Gail Clark all of Maumelle.
