Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

James Earl (JE) Goodman, age 81

James Earl (JE) Goodman was born in Bald Knob, Arkansas on April 7, 1942, and went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 5, 2024.

He joined both his parents Jesse Earl Goodman and Addie Agnes Goodman, along with his brothers and sisters; Edward Lee (Ed) Goodman (Lucielle Living), Delores Louise (Billie) Woods, Judy Carol Goodman, and Donald Wayne (Donnie) Goodman.

JE left behind his sisters Nancy Fae Goodman and Mary Lou Millien; his brother Charles Emerson Goodman; and too many to count nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

JE never married or had children of his own. He lived with his beloved brother Ed and his family for the majority of his life. He loved nothing more than spending time with family, talking about his trucks, and reminiscing about the good ole days. He was a rambling man who was always on the go. He loved his nieces and nephews and thought of them as his own. JE will be forever loved and missed.

Dear Nancy, Mary Lou, and Charles, I am so sorry to hear about J.E. i am your third cousin. Your mom’s dad and my mom’s dad, Frank Davis, were brothers. My mom was Hazel Davis Wiley. I have not seen any of you since we moved from Augusta in 1987. Your family used to live down the street from us. I want to tell you an anecdote about J.E. After he broke his leg, he would sometimes lie on the floor to watch tv. He would not allow us to step over his leg (he said it was bad luck). We had to walk around him to get to another part of the room. i would love to communicate with all of you. I did a genealogy of some of the Davis family if any of you are interested. My email address is tojomal@yahoo.com. Again, I am so sorry about J.E. and your other siblings.
