Reuben Pierce, age 70, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2024. He was born in Sheridan, Arkansas on July 11, 1953 to the late James Elven Pierce and Betty Sue (Earnest) Pierce.
Reuben is preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents Reuben Barnett Earnest and Velda Doyle (Adams) Earnest; his brothers James Pierce, Wayne Pierce, Samuel Pierce; his sister Dolly Hale; and his wife of 44 years Leslie Diane (Venable) Pierce.
He is survived by his brother Timothy Pierce; his sister Betty Wills; along with a host of cousins and many more friends and extended family.
Reuben worked at Walmart, Goodwill, and Edward’s Grocery in Jacksonville, Arkansas for many years. In his spare time, he enjoyed going to flea markets. He also loved artwork and painting.
A memorial service will be held to honor Reuben on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at 1:00pm at Life Tabernacle Church located at 23903 Hwy 107, Jacksonville, Arkansas 72076 with graveside following. Services will be officiated by Pastor Clyde Phillips.
