Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Robert Douglas Waller, age 64

Robert Douglas Waller of Heber Springs, was called home to Heaven on December 20, 2023.

He is survived by his daughter Latosha Waller of Jacksonville; grandson Hazen Hutton of Jacksonville and his brothers and sister.

He is preceded in death by his father Douglas Waller and mother Lorraine Waller.

Robert, known as Bob, was a beloved father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. He attended Vidalia high school, then went on to work for k sea transportations for many years. If he wasn’t at home, he could be found spending time with his daughter, watching his grandson play baseball, attending Heber Springs Baptist Church, traveling to Mississippi or Louisiana to visit friends and family or cheering on the LSU Tigers.

Bob was a great man. A man with a heart of gold. He continued to put his faith in the Lord throughout his life, never doubting he was to serve the Lord. Always a doting father who loved his daughter and grandson more than anything.  A loyal friend to many. A brother who cared deeply for his siblings. And a son who dearly missed his mother.

His passing leaves a hole in many hearts, his loved ones are comforted knowing he is no longer in pain. That he is now home in Heaven with Our Lord and Savior.

A small graveside service will be held in Manifest, Louisiana. Please reach out to the family for more information.

The Bible says to celebrate when a loved one goes home. Sometimes that is easier said than done. But I praise the Lord for the years you was a uncle and a father to me. I have so many stories of your Love and discipline that made me a better person. I love you and will see you again. I pray peace ,Love and Joy over your family and friends.
