Vivian Leigh Allen, age 73

Vivian Leigh Allen, age 73, born August 3, 1950, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, January 14, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents Julius Lee Ketcher and Betty Jean Conn Ketcher. She is survived by her siblings, three brothers and one sister – Gary Michael Ketcher, Robert Brian Ketcher, Gregory Alan Ketcher, and Gina Lynn Nesbit; daughters – Valerie Ann Rosenow and husband Eric Rosenow, Jennifer Suzanne Gay and husband Dirregija Gay; six grandchildren – Brianna Marie Dolphin of Louisiana, Makayla Christine Allen of Texas, Aliyah Claire Carney of Louisiana, Christian Mitchell Cook and fiancée Shelby Gene Martin of Tennessee, John Simeon Cook of Tennessee, and William Robert Cook of Tennessee; one great-grandchild David Mitchell Cook of Tennessee.

Vivian graduated from Old Main High School in North Little Rock, AR in 1968. She had a great passion for art and an amazingly beautiful hand at portraits. Careers in many different professions, she loved working with her hands. Vivian was a great dancer and loved listening to music, as well as collecting angel figurines. After retiring, she dedicated herself to raising her grandchildren before caring for her mother with Alzheimer’s.

A family hosted memorial service will be held at 3pm on January 27, 2024 at Encouraging Word Church, 1005 W. 34thSt. (Levy Area), North Little Rock, AR 72118, with Pastors James Johnson and Ozetta Johnson.
