Daniel Jay Dover (Danny), age 63

When something is missing in your life, it usually turns-out to be someone. Daniel Jay Dover (Danny) of North Little Rock, passed away on February 6, 2024 due to health reasons.  He was born on November 4, 1960 to Jearl and Patricia Dover in Rochelle, Ill.

Danny loved his best bud, labrador retriever, and went no-where without him.

Danny was preceded in death by his father Jerry Dover and his step-father Joe Wheat.  He is survived by his mother Patricia Wheat, sister Edie Jones (Richard), brothers Jearl Dover, William Dover (Robin), and Jonathon Dover.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at 10:00am with a funeral service starting at 11:00am at Trinity Lutheran Church; 3802 N. Olive St, North Little Rock, AR 72116. Graveside Service to follow at Edgewood Cemetery in North Little Rock.

    Sorry to hear of Danny’s passing. In Jr. High and High School we use to have lots of fun riding motorcycles and mini bikes. We use to camp and fish all the time in Camp Robinson. I thought of something we did when we were kids on motorcycles when they were build the 430 bridges. No way I would do that now. R.I.P. long time friend. Fly high above the clouds.

    Aunt Pat, Edie, Jearl, Bill, & Jonathan, We are all so sorry for your loss. As you grieve, know that we are all remembering and honoring Danny. We will always remember him as a great character and hope all your happy memories give you peace and comfort at this difficult time. Sending hugs and best wishes and hoping you are all doing OK.
