Euell Jackson Lackie, 83, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2024 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Jack was born on July 17, 1940 to George Euell and Susie Ford (Nixon) Lackie.
Jack served 30 years in the US Army. He retired as a Staff Sergeant (E6). He was very dedicated to family and friends, and country with many awards. He was a member of the VA, Lions Club, Kiwanna Club in Pulaski County, Arkansas. Everyone that knew him loved his personality.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Karen Sue and Billy Lackie.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lackie; brother James and Pat Lackie of Jacksonville, AR; brother Robert Lackie of Kansas City, Missouri; and new daughter he loved dearly Dawn Dunsmore of Jacksonville, AR. When he married Mary Lackie, he got a big family with lots of grandkids, nieces, nephews, and great-grandkids.
A visitation will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024 at 10:30am with a funeral service starting at 11:30am in the chapel at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Burial to follow at the Arkansas State Veteran’s Cemetery in North Little Rock.
