Floyd Steven Smith, age 72, of Redfield, Arkansas passed away on February 11, 2024. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on March 4, 1951 to Floyd D. Smith and Bobbie Sue O’Guine.
Floyd is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers Dwight Smith and Randy Smith; and his wife Lucinda Lea Lakin.
He is survived by his children Stephanie Thrash (John) and Floyd Dylan Smith (Brittany); grandchildren Hayden Moreau, Rachel Thrash, Ian Thrash, Victoria Lea Smith, and Floyd Eli Smith; two brothers Ronald Jordan and David Smith; a special friend Curtis; and many nieces and nephews.
Floyd joined the Army at the age of 17. He served in the Vietnam War and was a proud veteran. After serving our country, Floyd worked as a Subcontractor for many years. He loved his family, motorcycles, hunting, fishing, horses, the beach, and just enjoying life in general!
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be set up at a later date.
