Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Kevin Lewis Kendall, age 58

Kevin Lewis Kendall, age 58, of Mena, Arkansas passed away on February 5, 2024. Kevin was a loved daddy to Sariah, Taylor & Lauren. He was married to Julie Stitt for 34 years, but in actuality they were together for 45 years. Kevin was devoted son.

Kevin was an avid fisherman, hunter, poker player, reader of CJ BOX books, cornhole extraordinaire and he had great free throw shot. Kevin loved John Wayne and Robert Duval, not a day went by where he wasn’t watching westerns and Andy Griffith.

He worked for K&K Chemical until 2017, after the business was sold, Kevin and Julie hit the road for one year in their fifth wheel. What a precious gift that was. Kevin enjoyed late nights around the fire pit, everyone always knew the burn ring was the place to be. Kevin was a great daddy to his 3 girls that he loved beyond measure. He taught them to wakeboard, drive a boat, muddying, ATV riding, hunt, fish, be a pool shark, play basketball, surf, but mostly taught them to chase after what they wanted out of life. Kevin worked in Arkansas, Texas, Louisiana, his customers were his friends first. In 2018, he started East Texas Supply, first in Malakoff, Texas then he moved it all to Mena, Arkansas.

Kevin is survived by his wife Julie; 3 daughters, Sariah Carriere, Taylor Kendall, Lauren Benton; his parents Ken & Patsy Kendall of Garland, Texas; Shannon & Stacy Irby of Rockwall (who have been by Julie’s side from day one); Jennifer & Zac Bullock of Manor, TX; Aunt Sue Kendall of Covington, TX; Diann Kendall of Ft Worth, TX. Mike Kendall of Ft. Worth & Joe Mark Kendall of Shreveport, LA.

We will miss you Gomer, and I know your grandmother Edna will be there to greet you with your favorite sugar cookies. May heaven be filled with Skeeter Boats and 60-degree days. I know Alfred will have his fishing pole ready when y’all meet up.

We know you will be the BassMasters champ in heaven. Until we meet again. Forever in our hearts.

A family-hosted celebration will be held for family and friends on March 2, 2024 at Kendall Family Farm in Martins Mill, Texas with Soulmans BBQ and fishing on the pond. Weather permitting
