“I fixed it. That’s what I do!”

Kevin Shane Moore, age 42, from Hot Springs, AR passed away on Feb. 26, 2024. He was born in Paris, TX to Rick & Jan Moore.

Kevin had a soft heart for the Lord growing up.  He would witness to children in the street. He loved soccer, baseball and really enjoyed school enough to want to go through the summer. Kevin was skilled in construction. His friends and family knew he was a hard worker and oftentimes called on him for help, and he oftentimes said, “Yes. But, I do not do plumbing!”. He loved the color green, horseshoes with friends & attending First Assembly of God on Sundays AND Wednesdays with his family. Kevin’s daughter Mila, meant the world to him & he loved his son, Dillon, more than he knew. Kevin will always be remembered for his kind heart and the way he loved his children. His memory will live on in them.

Kevin was preceded in death by his beloved sister Melissa Ashborn who he missed so very much. They are now reunited and surely laughing together. He is also preceded by his paternal grandparents Archie and Freddie Moore and his grandfather Don Rodgers.

He is survived by his mother Jan Moore who he called “a wonderful mother that puts up with too much.”, his father Rick Moore, daughter Mila Moore, son Dillon, brothers Michael Pearson & Matt Moore, grandmother Peggy Rodgers, Uncle Rick, who he said was his favorite, Aunt Debbie & Uncle Rod Rodgers.

He was uncle to Ashton Pearson, Eric Pearson, Alissa Ashborn, Kayleigh Ashborn, Brooklyn & Rylan Rodgers, Kinze Moore and had many loving cousins, family and friends.

The memorial service will be Friday, March 1st, at 2:00pm at First Assembly of God Hot Springs Village; 1096 DeSoto Blvd, Hot Springs Village, AR 71909.

    Kevin was my horse shoe partner, my room mate, and one of my best friend. We’ve been friends since 1996 and this really hits hard. See you on the other side. Love you brother
