Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Charles Learlie Grayam, age 78

Charles Learlie Grayam, 78, of Jefferson, Arkansas passed away on March 17, 2024.  He was born in St. Louis, Missouri to Thomas Grayam and Nancy (O’Daniell) Grayam.

Charles is preceded in death by his siblings Thomas Grayam II, Nora Grayam, Charlene Grayam, and half-sister Martha Lawrence.

He is survived by his wife, Esther (Sue) Grayam; children Charles Grayam, Thomas Grayam and wife Bobbie, Carol Grayam, Johnny Flores, Jesse Flores, and Rosa Gonzales and husband Tomas; brother, Donald Grayam and sisters Arlene Grayam and Katherine Lawrence; along with a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Charles was a long-haul truck driver for 45 years. He enjoyed fishing, mechanical work, working with his hands and telling stories whether they were tall tales or shorts tales. With his friends at the Redfield truck stop, they would debate the worlds news over many cups of coffee served by Ashley, Jamie, and April, who kept their cups full.

Charles favorite saying:  The day only gets better!

To all truckers:  Keep the sunny side up and the dirty side down!
