Christine Marie Marcum was born on December 20, 1941 to James and Bertha Bratcher. She went to be with out Lord on March 26, 2024.
She was preceded in death by her father James Bratcher and mother Bertha Bratcher and a brother Randy Bratcher.
Christine was a private person who spent her life working at Van Heusen Shirt Factory in Des Arc sewing labels until it closed, followed by Franklin Electric in Jacksonville, before retiring from Bancroft Cap Co. in Cabot when they closed in January of 2007.
Christine was a devoted mother and grandmother. She spent her time outdoors walking and working in her yard.
She is survived by a daughter Donna Tucker of Des Arc and son William Marcum IV also of Des Arc; grandson James Scott Grammer (Angela Claunch) of Des Arc, William Aaron Marcum of Alexandria, Virginia, Candace Marcum of DeValls Bluff, and Gabrielle Marcum of Stuttgart; sisters Christine Juanita Parker, Mary Haveus, Shirley Epperson, and Barbara Doolin; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She will be greatly missed by her loved ones and all who knew her.
Her family would like to say a special thank you to her hospice team who have been wonderful through these trying times; Erka, Alisha, Rae, Emily, and others. God bless you all for making her feel special and her last months more comfortable. We are forever grateful.
