Phyllis Jean Morgan, age 88, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024 at Sherwood Nursing Home. She was born in Martinsville, Indiana on July 15, 1935 to Charles Francis Lory and Hazel Marie (Martin) Lory.
Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents; her brother Charles J. Lory; her son Douglas Edward Morrison; and her granddaughter Kathleen Ann Tedford.
She is survived by her children Teresa (Morrison) Stevens, Beverly (Morrison) Waddell and husband Pete, Roger Morrison and wife Kim, and Charles Morrison; grandchildren Tim Tedford, Ronnie Cummings Jr, Jennifer Morrison-Wilkins, and Tyler Morrison; great-grandchildren Benjamin Tedford, Michael Wilkins, Franky Wilkins, and Aurora Cummings; along with a host of extended family and friends.
Memorial can be made in Phyllis’s honor to the Arkansas School for the Blind.

Jean was the best Mother in law a girl could have. She was very sweet and had a great sense of humor. We were fortunate to care for her for a time. I am very thankful for her and her family. She loved animals so much. She will be missed.
