Amy Elkins Funderburg, age 58, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas passed away on April 21, 2024. She was born in Pine Bluff on August 4, 1965 to parents Jimmy Elkins and Hilda (Hogan) Elkins.
Amy graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1983. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her husband, Roger, and their two dogs, Denby and Elroy.
Amy is preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Elkins.
She is survived by her husband Roger Funderburg of Pine Bluff; her mother Hilda Elkins of Pine Bluff; one brother Bryan Elkins of Springfield, Missouri; aunt Wanta Hogan Slater of Pine Bluff; uncle Brue Hogan of Hot Springs; her two beloved dogs Denby and Elroy; and a host of extended family and friends.

We are so sorry to learn of Amy’s passing. We remember Amy as a beautiful young girl who loved life. Our family lived in Pine Bluff from 1972 to 1978 and enjoyed the Jewel Hogan family, including, Emma and Relis Eastman, Hilda and Jimmy Elkins, and Wanda and Rudy Slater and their families. They all took us in and made us part of their family during our 5+ years in Pine Bluff. Amy played with and looked after our two small children, Benjy and Brooke.
