Donny Joe Castle, born on August 30, 1943, went home to be with Our LORD on April 9, 2024.
Don was preceded in death by his dad, Earl Smith; mother and stepdad, Dorothy and Eddie Creamer; brothers, Jerry Castle, William (Sonny) Castle; niece, Cheryl Blake; and his dog, Daisy
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Castle; his son, Kevin Castle; along with his brother Dennis Castle; sisters, Dottie Moss and Patricia Baker; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and his dog Ben.
He was a loving husband, dad, son, brother, and uncle. Don was an accomplished musician and songwriter. Several of his songs were performed by various artists. He was a published author as well. He also enjoyed photography which included shooting TV commercials for his advertising agency before he eventually retired. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Don was a great neighbor and friend. He was a pillar of our community. He kept all of us up on local projects and threats to our community (scams). He loved us all and especially our pets. Don had manny hobbies and was always willing to share his knowledge of each of these The thing I will remember most is his love for his family. He was so proud to tell you about his amazing wife Shirley and his son Kevin. He loved them so much and it was so obvious in everything he did. He lived an incredible life and I am proud to have him in mine. While I will truly miss him I know we will meet again.
