Dustin W. Carter, age 38

Dustin W. Carter, 38, of Sherwood, Arkansas passed from this life unexpectedly on April 20, 2024. He was born on August 3, 1985, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Shelly Hazelwood-Marr and Michael Carter. He was the youngest son of three boys, lagging behind his twin brother, Christopher, by two minutes.

He is preceded in death by his sister Amanda Carter, his grandparents Peggy Hazelwood, Turner Hazelwood, William Carter, and Sally Woods. Dustin leaves behind his children Kip Carter and Kade Carter; parents Shelly Hazelwood-Marr (Chris), Michael Carter, Caroline Carter; siblings Todd Carter, Christopher Carter, Elana Nesbit, Ross Smith, Shawn Chester, Ceann Bowerman; and a host of nieces and nephews; and many other loving family and friends.

Dustin was a loving father, son, and brother. He adored his two boys, Kip Michael and Kade Nathan, more than anything in this world. They were the lights of his life. Though he may have left this world too soon, his memory will live on in our hearts, a testament to his profound impact on those blessed to know him.

A memorial service for Dustin will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 4, 2024, at That.Church 901 E. Kiehl Ave, Sherwood, AR 72120 in the student center.
