John David Long, age 53, of Sherwood, Arkansas passed away on April 11, 2024. He was born in Searcy, Arkansas on December 22, 1970 to parents Norman Alton Long Sr. and Helen (Ripley) Long.
John is preceded in death by his father and two sisters, Barbara Long and Mary Caldwell.
He is survived by his wife, Allison Long; his mother, Helen Schreck of Beebe, AR; one son, Blake Long of Ward, AR; one daughter, Lindsey Wedge of Ward, AR; stepchildren, Gracie Hamilton, Cody Hamilton, and Bryson Hamilton; his grandchildren, Addison Wedge, Wyatt Wedge, Corey Sullivan, Cheyenne Sullivan, Isaiah Wedge, and Jackson Sullivan; three brothers, Norman Long Jr. of Beebe, AR, Thomas Long of Conway, AR, and James Long of Beebe, AR; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
